What macOS version do I need?
Snap to AI requires macOS 13 Ventura or later. It runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Which AI tools does it work with?
Snap to AI works with any AI that accepts image uploads in the browser or desktop app — including Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and more. If you can paste an image into it, Snap to AI can send it there.
How do I set up the global shortcut?
After installing, open Snap to AI from your menu bar and go to Preferences. You can assign any global shortcut you like from there.
Can I capture the whole screen, not just a selection?
Yes. While the selection tool is the default, you can also capture a full window or your entire display from the menu bar menu.
Does it work with both web and desktop AI apps?
Yes. Snap to AI can open your AI of choice in the browser or a native desktop app with the screenshot attached — ready to send immediately.
